Baron Edvard Von Creme
Baron Edvard Von Creme by Julia Krase - wasteofpaint.net
Edvard Von Crème is the seventh Von Crème to serve as baron of Silveen. He is known as a ruthless businessman and loving father. During the course of his fifteen years as baron Edvard has made Silveen the most powerful barony in the Empire of Rienbect. Edvard has numerous awards in fencing, and is regarded in political circles as the empire's best swordsman. Edvard’s office is inside the mouth of a great red dragon which he bested in single combat. Edvard spends nearly forty percent of his yearly income on charities and has established many social programs that feed and clothe the poor. It is said that no one goes hungry in Oceansend due to the baron’s alms.

Those bold or stupid enough to spread rumors will tell of a darker side to the baron. If you listen when the wind is right or the drink is plenty you will hear stories of the baron being a murderer, a womanizer, and a cheat. These are just rumors, but he does have very few outspoken enemies, many female visitors, and is very good at judging commodity markets.

Edvard grew up in Oceansend with the finest tutors money could buy. At age ten Edvard’s father offered him as a ward to the mineral rich city state of Grixton. The periodicals said he traded his son for rocks and the public called it a scandal. During the two years Edvard spent in Grixton he and Grix, the twelve year old heir to the city state, developed an inseparable bond. So close were Grix and Edvard that when Edvard left to train in Loyang at the Falchion school of combat Grix journeyed with him. The public again was outraged as more than half of the student who attend the school die. Indeed at one point during the three years that the students were gone rumor spread that the two were indeed dead. A funeral was held for the boys and the bond between Silveen and Grixton grew stronger.

Edvard and Grix both trained under the world’s most notorious assassin, Dagger, and after graduating the school traveled the world on a Dingy fighting dragons and saving princesses. The adventures of Edvard and Grix are speculated into song by nearly every bard in Rienbect. Other than speculation very little is known about what the two did during their adventures together.

Upon returning to Oceansend Edvard took a wife and a larger share of the responsibilities of ruling the barony. Edvard fathered two girls and one boy. His wife is the first cousin to Emperor Rodick and is fifth in line for the crown. Edvard and his family gracefully navigate the perils of high society in Oceansend and have captured love and admiration of their subjects.

Duke Avo Doyni Nisrel by Julia Krase - wasteofpaint.net
Avo Doyni Nisrel
Avo Doyni Nisrel is the eighth duke of the Blightwater Dutchy, which was created seven thousand five hundred and forty three years ago during the genesis of the Rien empire. The Nisrel family bent the knee to the newly formed empire and have been steady contributors ever since. Duke Nisrel continues to represent his once proud family line although during the past seven hundred years he has seen generation after generation of imperial families show the Nisrel family less respect.

Avo angers quickly but reacts slowly with well thought out plans that often take decades to develop. Avo loves politics, law, and philosophy. The duke’s greatest love though are pastries and fine rich foods. Avo stands just shy of five foot seven inches but weights over three hundred pounds. Opponents who view Avo’s sloth as somehow showing a weakness of mind never seem to fare well.

Duke Nisrel married at the age of two hundred and fifty to Kukurni Rhythebeck. The marriage was a political match in an attempt to unite the elves of Sylvar and the elves of Evelar. Kukurni did not fare well in her new home across the sea and died some fifteen years after leaving Evelar. The death of Kukurni strained relations between the two groups of elves. The only good to come of the marriage was the birth of Alegro, sole heir to the ancient Nisrel family line.

Monkrat
Physical description: Monkrat has pebbled dark green skin and stands just under 5ft. His skin like that of all goblins is naturally tough, more akin to animal hide than human skin. Bright green eyes are hidden under the shadow of an eternally frowning brow and his long pointy nose shows evidence of having been broken many times before. Splitting his face nearly in two is a large mouth that pulls his face down in a grimace. Large yellowed and cracked fangs poke out from his scown in a way that would give any child nightmares. His face and body are scarred owing to his youth as a slave to the Deep Elves. Monkrat has broad shoulders that taper down to a trim waist. His arms reach down to his knees and are covered in bulky muscles. Bristly black hairs are speckled around his head and beard but he keeps them trimmed short. No one knows how old Monkrat is but he doesn't show signs of advanced age.

Personality Traits: Monkrat never knew his parents or tribe, being taken as a slave by the deep elves at a very young age.  He worked in the mines throughout his childhood until he was brought to the prize pits. There he quickly made a name for himself as a brutal fighter creating his own fighting style of grappling and hand-to-hand combat. He was champion until his escape and matriculation to Oceansend. Monkrat’s early life have had a great influence on his personality. He is very guarded in all of his affairs, trusting rarely. When he decides to trust someone he trusts gives it to them fully. Though he is a Capo of Shadow Corps, he is not skilled at the artful assassination. Preferring instead to remove his targets in violent and public displays of his power. He has a noticeable soft spot for children of all races.

Kymburli de Asti

Kymburli grew up on a vast plantation north of Skylark. Her father, Sethrine de Asti, owned and operated the Asti Wine company. Asti’s wines are known around the world for being made from frozen grapes. The Asti wine label is one of the most prestigious names in the world with respect to wine. Kymburli’s upbringing included the finest education money could buy. As a child Kymburli de Asti brimmed with confidence, and ruled over her peers with an unprecedented social grace.

Kym’s world came to an end the day Glacier Raiders sacked her family's plantation and sold her as a sex slave. Within a matter of days her confidence eroded, and the core of her personality shattered. Kymburli, the Kymburli who grew up all smiles with a prim and proper arsenal of social weaponry, died and was replaced with a numb shell of a woman.

Kymburli was saved by the deadliest assassin in the world, the deep elf Dagger. Under the strict training regimen imposed by Dagger, Kym grew up to be one of the world’s best dancers, and deadliest rogue assassins. Kym’s genetic makeup did much for her dancing career. Kym is slightly below average in height but she is stunningly beautiful. Her toned body does not have an ounce of fat on it other than her large breasts. Her natural blond hair is often divided into pigtails. Kym has a very cute button nose and even now as a young adult looks like a little girl. Men, all men, cannot pass by her on the street without awkwardly straining to feed their eyes on every aspect of her being. Yet she flinches away at the touch of men and disdains men for what they did to her and her family.

Kym will never feel safe until all the world knows she is the world’s best assassin. Part of her longs for her old life, but part of her knows she will never be able to have friends or have a normal life. She tries desperately to make friends as she travels the world dancing for kings and queens but somehow her lack of confidence and insecurity drives them away.

Dagger
Physical Description: Dagger’s has skin so pale that the blue veins and even some red ones can be seen through it. All deep elves have the same type of skin, it comes from generations upon generations of their race living deep beneath the surface of Kaelist, never seeing the light of the sun. Dagger’s is almost always covered head to toe in black silks, strapped tight to his skin with black leather buckles, his face obscured beneath a deep hood and behind a black mask. His red eyes glowing above the mask dimly. Beneath these accoutrements of his profession he has the fine handsome features of an elf. Somewhere in the middle of his years he has jet black hair and light red eye’s. His ears sweep up high and thin hinting at a noble heritage. Dagger’s movements are light and graceful like that of a master dancer.

Personality Traits: Dagger is cold, powerful and frightening. His powers as an assassin are so feared that the Empire of Reinbect has a standing bounty of 1 million imperial stocks for his head (though it’s been rumored that imperial agents have contracted Dagger in the past). Dagger rarely meets with clients, preferring to work through intermediaries so little is known of his real personality, which by all accounts is that of a ruthless killer. Something drove him from the Underworld and his actions show him to be an elf just biding his time till he can return to his people. Who knows what he will use his talents for when he returns.

Friend
Physical Description: The man with an unremarkable face and a body shaped like a pear. Friend is in all ways unremarkable in appearance. Nothing of this man stands out. In fact his image is usually quickly forgotten even by those who try to remember him.

Personality Traits: Friend is caring and a true patriot. His work as an agent of the Uberous, Rienbect’s spymaster, has honed his ability to blend in and extract information to an artform. Nothing is known of this master spy. His employers within the Office of the Uberous know nothing about his past before he enrolled in their Academy. Friend shows an uncommonly caring and kind side towards his assets. Perhaps it is this empathy that makes him such a good spy.

Leander du Plastor
Physical Description: Leander is just under six meters tall with a mop of wavy blond hair. He has light blue eyes and a slightly crooked smile. Well muscled from his years of training as a knight he is a natural athlete. His clothes were once fine but are a generation or two out of date fashion wise. Obviously he wears hand-me downs from his family’s past glory.

Personality Traits: Leander comes from a minor noble house that has fallen on hard times.  He was trained from an early age in the archaic arts of chivalry and knighthood under the god Zaherts (god of battle and valor) by an ancient master. Leander’s knighthood is disparaged by most modern nobility as being quaint and out of touch. Leander takes his knighthood very seriously, though he is somewhat naive about the way the world works. Leander is also a hopeless romantic, often falling for the exact wrong girl. Though Leander is not stupid in the slightest, he is very trusting and naive which leads him to make very bad decisions. You could say he has yet to gain a portion of wisdom.
